About

I’ve been doing estate planning for 25+ years. I began as a volunteer lawyer for a local AIDS organization back in the mid-1980’s, when so many young men were dying from the disease. I discovered then that I could express my compassion and my love in my law practice as an estate planner, and I’ve been doing estate planning ever since.

Because I work for myself, I have the freedom to spend time with my clients, get to know them and their values. Out of this working relationship, together we craft a plan to pass on their accumulated wealth and wisdom. I do this work for my clients, but also I do it for the good of all our future generations. I do it for you, your children, and your grandchildren, that they may live a happier, more fulfilled life because of you.

I believe in the continuation of energy in the form of wealth and abundance, whether financial, energetic, philosophical, or otherwise. What if this energy we have accumulated in our lifetime can be passed on to help our children, our grandchildren, and on into future generations? What if the very fact of its being passed on allows it to grow and multiply? What kind of energy would you want to grow and multiply over the generations? I will help you to grow and multiply the energy of your legacy, so that your gift will continue to bless the world for many generations to come.

I’m grateful to have a profession that allows me to incorporate my professional ethics with my personal values. I’m a part-time single mom of an amazing teenage young man, who makes me proud every day to be his mom. I’m a musician, classically trained as a singer. I’ve toured internationally as a choir member and soloist. I’m currently the music director for my church, and I volunteer 2 months of my time every year to travel with an internationally known humanitarian leader and teacher from India, helping to coordinate the volunteers and manage the program halls where she appears.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz. I attended Monterey College of Law and began my law practice in Santa Cruz, California in 1985. Since that time, in addition to California, I have also practiced law in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Maui, Hawai’i. My practice is limited to estate planning and related issues, working with clients in the East San Francisco Bay Area of California.
